Nigella Lawson meets Jessica Hische.
Food and design form one super sensory overload. French art director Emilie Guelpa made this for the food magazine Fricote. I like the rustic, yet commerical vibe to these pieces. For anyone who isn’t familiar with Pantones, their set colours that can be reproduced anywhere in the world, a bit like patented colours. It ensures the design you made in Zurich, can be sent to Buenos Aires, and be produced in the exact same colours.
They have weird, funny numerical and letter names, but personally, I’d prefer ordering one patch of banana pantone, or ripen ready berry pantone. It’d just make things a bit more jolly, or like my Sunday brunches.
Until next time, food porn your heart out.
